I am a writer. My practice is formulated in research and imagination. Most of the time it is interested in art, experience and time.
Since moving to Phnom Penh in June 2020, I have taken steps to specialize in Cambodian visual culture by gaining first hand experience in the contemporary arts sector as the Communications Manager at Cambodian Living Arts, interviewing artists for articles appearing in specialist publications, and independently reading prominent scholars in the field.
I was awarded an MA in Media, Campaigning and Social Change from the University of Westminster, London after graduating from the University of Washington, Seattle’s BA in Art History program.
Before this I was a performance artist working with the body to communicate about gender equity to the backdrop of Hardcourt Bike Polo, a competitive male-dominated mixed-gender sport.
